MADISON, N.J.<\/span>, Sept. 14, 2016<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC<\/a> today announced that Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty in Massachusetts<\/span> has acquired local brokerage The Higgins Group.  The acquired firm will now operate as Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty.<\/p>\n

The acquisition expands Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty into new markets, including Lexington<\/span> and Bedford<\/span>, while continuing to service the luxury residential real estate markets in Concord<\/span>, Carlisle<\/span> and Lincoln.  In addition, the firm has now grown to over 100 independent sales associates.<\/p>\n

Laurie Cadigan<\/span> is the broker\/owner of Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty and will remain at the helm.  Diane Higgins<\/span>, former broker\/owner of The Higgins Group, will become managing broker at Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty.<\/p>\n
